Dr James Askew is an experienced Queensland trained Specialist General Surgeon who has an interest in metabolic and obesity surgery.
He completed extra-post fellowship training in dedicated bariatric (weight loss) surgical units in Melbourne and New Zealand and has an established private practice on the Sunshine Coast.
His main consulting rooms are situated in the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. Dr Askew supports our regional areas by running regular satellite clinics at both the Caboolture Private Hospital and specialist consulting suites in Hervey Bay.
