Visiting Hours

General visiting hours are:

11.00am – 1.00pm and 3.00pm – 8.00pm

Current visitor restrictions:

  • 2 vaccinated visitors ONLY per patient per day during nominated visitor hours
  • Any visitors entering our facilities will be required to check-in using the Check In QLD app on arrival
  • Patient visitors under 12yrs are asked to refrain from entering the patient wards. Exemptions will be reviewed upon application.
  • All visitors 16yrs and above must have 2 TGA approved COVID 19 vaccinations, be asymptomatic and wear a mask

Some specialty areas e.g. Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care Unit may have additional requirements regarding numbers of visitors and length of visits.

We understand that visits by your family or loved one is important to you. The visiting hours stated are preferred to allow a rest period for patients. However you and your family might have particular needs or circumstances that require flexibility. Please feel free to discuss this with the Nurse Unit Manager.

For their safety and for the safety and comfort of others, children should be supervised by an adult at all times when visiting at the hospital.

The Hospital will respect the privacy and comfort of all patients at all times and asks that visitors do the same.
