Dr Murray provides subspecialty care in hip and knee replacement surgery, arthroscopic surgery of the knee including cartilage and meniscus pathology, and orthopaedic trauma surgery.
Dr Murray has particular interest in utilising and pioneering the latest technology and research including Direct Anterior Approach hip replacement, Kinematic Augmented Reality Knee Replacements, Patient Specific Instrumentation and Robotics.
Dr Murray has performed hip and knee surgery at prestigious locations across Australia, and internationally with world renowned hip and knee surgeons. He has worked alongside highly regarded orthopaedic Joint Replacement and Trauma specialists across Australia and Europe.
As Australia’s first Indigenous Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Anthony Murray also participates actively in the Indigenous community and healthcare space.
Raised in Far North, Central and South-East Queensland, and completing medicine at James Cook University in Townsville, Dr. Murray enjoys farming, rugby and fitness.
