Dr Matthew Terrill

Dr Matthew Terrill is a Specialist Rheumatologist who gained fellowship in 2020 and commenced working at the Sunshine Coast University Public Hospital and the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.

After studying medicine in New South Wales at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and working as an Immunology Registrar, Dr Terrill completed his basic physician training before relocating to Queensland.  He completed his advanced training in Rheumatology at both the Townsville Hospital and the Princes Alexandria Hospital in Brisbane.

During Dr Terrill’s advanced training period, he also undertook a Post Graduate Diploma in Pain Medicine at the University of Sydney (USYD), worked as an Academic Registrar at the University of Queensland (UQ) and a Vasculitis Fellow at the University of Queensland Diamantina Institute (UQDI).

Dr Terrill is currently completing a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) into Mechanisms of Pathogenesis in MPO-ANCA-associated vasculitis at the University of Queensland (UQ).
