Director of Clinical Services appointed

Ramsay Health Care today announced Catherine Lambert has commenced as Director of Clinical Services for its new hospital under construction in Kawana.
Ms Lambert will be responsible for the clinical functions of the hospital and this pivotal role will form part of the Executive team at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital when it opens later this year.
Announcing the appointment, Hospital CEO Kimberley Pierce said Catherine was a welcome addition to the management team.
"We are pleased to welcome Catherine to the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital team," Ms Pierce said.
"Catherine has experience in commissioning new health care facilities, a skill which will be of great assistance to the management team as the opening date of our hospital draws nearer."
Ms Lambert has had extensive experience in managing health facilities in both Australia and the UK. She recently held the position of General Manager, Bupa Mosman Residential Aged Care and prior to that Director of Clinical Services, BMI Thornbury Hospital, Sheffield, UK; Director of Clinical Services, The Hills Private Hospital, Sydney and Commissioning Director of Clinical Services, North Shore Private Hospital (a Ramsay Health Care facility).
Ms Lambert holds post graduate nursing qualifications in neurosciences and intensive care together with a Masters in Management (Nursing), and is committed to fostering a learning and development culture at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.
Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital is due to open in November 2013.
