Dr Sanmarie Duddridge moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2007 after completing her medical degree, internship and community service in South Africa. She completed her training as a Physician and Geriatrician in Queensland.
Dr Duddridge has a special interest in cognitive impairment, falls prevention and advanced care planning and believes in patient-centered care and a holistic approach.
Dr Duddridge previously participated in research and education and was a lecturer for the School of Medicine, Sunshine Coast Clinical School prior to entering private practice. Her past research projects focused on improving the care of elderly patients within the hospital system.
In recent years, she has contributed to the development of various patient treatment protocols within Queensland Health, served on multiple sub-committees and received an “Award of Excellence” for engagement.
In her free time Dr Duddridge enjoys spending time with her friends and family, bushwalking, amateur photography and astronomy.
