Dr Manjunath Narayana is a Clinical Haematologist. He completed his Medical (MBBS) school at Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences, India in 2002. After completion of his internship in India he has worked as a junior doctor in North Yorkshire and Liverpool University hospitals ( United kingdom) before migrating to Brisbane in 2006. He undertook his basic physician training at Royal Brisbane & Women’s hospital & The prince Charles hospital. He completed training in both clinical and laboratory Haematology at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Mater hospital & Princess Alexandra hospital. He worked at Nambour general hospital in 2016 as a Final year Haematology advance trainee before securing a full-time Consultant Haematologist position. Dr Narayana is the current lead in Lymphoma at SCUH . He is currently the primary investigator of 8 lymphoma clinical trials and sub investigator of a Myeloma and acute leukaemia trial at SCUH. His major interests are in malignant haematology (i.e. lymphoma, myeloma, acute leukaemia , MDS and MPNs).
